Corn Bread

I actually have two recipes I like, but I think I like this one better because it uses more corn meal and flour instead of bisquick. I even used 1/2 and 1/2 white/wheat for the flour, it was still yummy!

1 C sugar
1 C margarine
1 1/2 C flour (I used half white/half wheat)
1 C corn meal
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
2 beaten eggs
1 1/2 C milk

Cream sugar and butter. Add rest of ingredients. Put in a greased 9x9 pan. Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Can be doubled and baked in 9x13 for approximately 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
