Almond Butter Balls (Danish)

This is probably my favorite cookie ever. Maybe it's because I grew up with it, or maybe it's just because it is the best. ;)

It is a Danish cookie called - Mandelsmorboller

1 cup soft butter
3 Tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
1 -2 cups sifted flour
1 cup chopped almonds
Powdered sugar

Cream butter and sugar. Add flavoring and mix well. Stir in flour and fold in the chopped almonds.

Shape into small 1" balls & place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes. Before they start to brown.

Let cool a little and roll in powdered sugar while warm.
